Victims of Rape Essay - 1824 Words

Rape is a form of victimization that is highly underreported. The crime of rape has been denied throughout the ages. Women were believed to secretly desire the prospect of being raped. In addition, there was even the belief that rape was not possible (Pilkington, 2011, Lecture Unit 4). In some ways, this denial of rape has continued within our society. Denial about victimization has only added to the negative feelings rape victims have and why they choose to let their victimization go unreported. Not only do rape victims suffer due to their victimization but they also face the possibility of being scrutinized for â€Å"lying,† even when the victim is telling the truth. The fact that individuals have lied about being raped and the fact†¦show more content†¦In addition, rape is subcategorized by different types. There are different ways in which rape can be split into types. The first is in terms of the rapist. There are three main types, which are as follows: Anger Rape - this type of rapist expresses hatred and rage towards the victim. The rapist wants their victim to â€Å"feel and understand his anger towards them, even though they may have not been the one to provoke the rage† (Types of rapes, 2003). As a result, the rapist uses the victim to take their anger out on and makes the victim suffer similarly to the way the rapist suffered for their past wrongs and rejections. Power Rape - this type of rapist wants â€Å"to express power and domination over the victim. These rapists have a common fantasy of women who want them and resist there come-ons and then consent to sex† (Types of rapes, 2003). When the rapist’s fantasy is not acted out accordingly, due to the victim’s lack of cooperation, the rapist takes on a domineering stance to get full control over their victim. Sadistic rape – â€Å"this rapist is obsessed with the ritual that goes along with the sex† (Types of rapes, 2003). This could involve forcing the victim to role-play, and the use of mutilation or torture as a way of exciting the rapist. These rapists are the ones that wake women out of a dead sleep and make the victim fear for their lives. Childhood Obesity Is A Growing Epidemic - 1297 Words

Childhood obesity is a growing epidemic. The UK has estimated through their schools’ National Child Measurement Program that one-third of the children there are overweight, and by 2050 that number could rise to an alarming two-thirds (Phillips 2). There are many uncontrollable factors in childhood obesity such as the environment, income and genetics. However, parents are the most overlooked factor. Our children’s futures, with regard to their eating habits, are in the hands of their parents. Ultimately, children grow into adults who make their own choices, but parents can have a positive effect on the children s health in their childhood. By focusing on the parental factor, an immense decrease in childhood obesity is obtainable. Parents must consider how the environment they choose to raise their child in can affect their child s health. In rural environments, people can live off of healthy, home-grown food. If a child lives in the city, parents may have a harder time finding healthy, affordable options for their family. For example, when comparing cities like Atlanta, Georgia to a rural farm town like Jesup, Georgia, it is apparent that bigger cities lack resources that would keep vegetables fresh and on hand at all t imes. Nevertheless, parents would still need to opt for these healthier choices, instead of processed food or fast food. Even if these options are available, the major concern parents have is whether they can afford buying healthier alternatives whichShow MoreRelatedThe Growing Epidemic Of Childhood Obesity2178 Words   |  9 PagesIntroduction The United States has seen childhood obesity rates double in children and increase four times in adolescents since the 1980’s.1 The Center for Disease Control reports that in 2012, over one third of children and adolescents were considered obese or overweight.1 There is an urgent need to address the growing epidemic of childhood obesity, as obesity has been shown to have deteriorating immediate health effects and increase the risk of chronic disease such as diabetes, osteoarthritisRead MoreChildhood Obesity : A Growing Epidemic1820 Words   |  8 PagesAbstract Childhood obesity is a growing epidemic in the United States. string(46) " eyes never left me, his nostrils still wide\." 18. THE HUNT They emerged one by one from the forest edge, ranging a dozen meters apart. The first male into the clearing fell back immediately, allowing the other male to take the front, orienting himself around the tall, dark-haired man in a manner that clearly displayed who led the pack. We will write a custom essay sample on Twilight 18. THE HUNT or any similar topic only for you Order Now The third was a woman; from this distance, all I could see of her was that her hair was a startling shade of red. They closed ranks before they continued cautiously toward Edward’s family, exhibiting the natural respect of a troop of predators as it encounters a larger, unfamiliar group of its own kind. As they approached, I could see how different they were from the Cullens. Their walk was catlike, a gait that seemed constantly on the edge of shifting into a crouch. They dressed in the ordinary gear of backpackers: jeans and casual button-down shirts in heavy, weatherproof fabrics. The clothes were frayed, though, with wear, and they were barefoot. Both men had cropped hair, but the woman’s brilliant orange hair was filled with leaves and debris from the woods. Their sharp eyes carefully took in the more polished, urbane stance of Carlisle, who, flanked by Emmett and Jasper, stepped guardedly forward to meet them. Without any seeming communication between them, they each straightened into a more casual, erect bearing. The man in front was easily the most beautiful, his skin olive-toned beneath the typical pallor, his hair a glossy black. He was of a medium build, hard-muscled, of course, but nothing next to Emmett’s brawn. He smiled an easy smile, exposing a flash of gleaming white teeth. The woman was wilder, her eyes shifting restlessly between the men facing her, and the loose grouping around me, her chaotic hair quivering in the slight breeze. Her posture was distinctly feline. The second male hovered unobtrusively behind them, slighter than the leader, his light brown hair and regular features both nondescript. His eyes, though completely still, somehow seemed the most vigilant. Their eyes were different, too. Not the gold or black I had come to expect, but a deep burgundy color that was disturbing and sinister. The dark-haired man, still smiling, stepped toward Carlisle. â€Å"We thought we heard a game,† he said in a relaxed voice with the slightest of French accents. â€Å"I’m Laurent, these are Victoria and James.† He gestured to the vampires beside him. â€Å"I’m Carlisle. This is my family, Emmett and Jasper, Rosalie, Esme and Alice, Edward and Bella.† He pointed us out in groups, deliberately not calling attention to individuals. I felt a shock when he said my name. â€Å"Do you have room for a few more players?† Laurent asked sociably. Carlisle matched Laurent’s friendly tone. â€Å"Actually, we were just finishing up. But we’d certainly be interested another time. Are you planning to stay in the area for long?† â€Å"We’re headed north, in fact, but we were curious to see who was in the neighborhood. We haven’t run into any company in a long time.† â€Å"No, this region is usually empty except for us and the occasional visitor, like yourselves.† The tense atmosphere had slowly subsided into a casual conversation; I guessed that Jasper was using his peculiar gift to control the situation. â€Å"What’s your hunting range?† Laurent casually inquired. Carlisle ignored the assumption behind the inquiry. â€Å"The Olympic Range here, up and down the Coast Ranges on occasion. We keep a permanent residence nearby. There’s another permanent settlement like ours up near Denali.† Laurent rocked back on his heels slightly. â€Å"Permanent? How do you manage that?† There was honest curiosity in his voice. â€Å"Why don’t you come back to our home with us and we can talk comfortably?† Carlisle invited. â€Å"It’s a rather long story.† James and Victoria exchanged a surprised look at the mention of the word â€Å"home,† but Laurent controlled his expression better. â€Å"That sounds very interesting, and welcome.† His smile was genial. â€Å"We’ve been on the hunt all the way down from Ontario, and we haven’t had the chance to clean up in a while.† His eyes moved appreciatively over Carlisle’s refined appearance. â€Å"Please don’t take offense, but we’d appreciate it if you’d refrain from hunting in this immediate area. We have to stay inconspicuous, you understand,† Carlisle explained. â€Å"Of course.† Laurent nodded. â€Å"We certainly won’t encroach on your territory. We just ate outside of Seattle, anyway,† he laughed. A shiver ran up my spine. â€Å"We’ll show you the way if you’d like to run with us – Emmett and Alice, you can go with Edward and Bella to get the Jeep,† he casually added. Three things seemed to happen simultaneously while Carlisle was speaking. My hair ruffled with the light breeze, Edward stiffened, and the second male, James, suddenly whipped his head around, scrutinizing me, his nostrils flaring. A swift rigidity fell on all of them as James lurched one step forward into a crouch. Edward bared his teeth, crouching in defense, a feral snarl ripping from his throat. It was nothing like the playful sounds I’d heard from him this morning; it was the single most menacing thing I had ever heard, and chills ran from the crown of my head to the back of my heels. â€Å"What’s this?† Laurent exclaimed in open surprise. Neither James nor Edward relaxed their aggressive poses. James feinted slightly to the side, and Edward shifted in response. â€Å"She’s with us.† Carlisle’s firm rebuff was directed toward James. Laurent seemed to catch my scent less powerfully than James, but awareness now dawned on his face. â€Å"You brought a snack?† he asked, his expression incredulous as he took an involuntary step forward. Edward snarled even more ferociously, harshly, his lip curling high above his glistening, bared teeth. Laurent stepped back again. â€Å"I said she’s with us,† Carlisle corrected in a hard voice. â€Å"But she’s human,† Laurent protested. The words were not at all aggressive, merely astounded. â€Å"Yes.† Emmett was very much in evidence at Carlisle’s side, his eyes on James. James slowly straightened out of his crouch, but his eyes never left me, his nostrils still wide. You read "Twilight 18. THE HUNT" in category "Essay examples" Edward stayed tensed like a lion in front of me. When Laurent spoke, his tone was soothing – trying to defuse the sudden hostility. â€Å"It appears we have a lot to learn about each other.† â€Å"Indeed.† Carlisle’s voice was still cool. â€Å"But we’d like to accept your invitation.† His eyes flicked toward me and back to Carlisle. â€Å"And, of course, we will not harm the human girl. We won’t hunt in your range, as I said.† James glanced in disbelief and aggravation at Laurent and exchanged another brief look with Victoria, whose eyes still flickered edgily from face to face. Carlisle measured Laurent’s open expression for a moment before he spoke. â€Å"We’ll show you the way. Jasper, Rosalie, Esme?† he called. They gathered together, blocking me from view as they converged. Alice was instantly at my side, and Emmett fell back slowly, his eyes locked on James as he backed toward us. â€Å"Let’s go, Bella.† Edward’s voice was low and bleak. This whole time I’d been rooted in place, terrified into absolute immobility. Edward had to grip my elbow and pull sharply to break my trance. Alice and Emmett were close behind us, hiding me. I stumbled alongside Edward, still stunned with fear. I couldn’t hear if the main group had left yet. Edward’s impatience was almost tangible as we moved at human speed to the forest edge. Once we were into the trees, Edward slung me over his back without breaking stride. I gripped as tightly as possible as he took off, the others close on his heels. I kept my head down, but my eyes, wide with fright, wouldn’t close. They plunged through the now-black forest like wraiths. The sense of exhilaration that usually seemed to possess Edward as he ran was completely absent, replaced by a fury that consumed him and drove him still faster. Even with me on his back, the others trailed behind. We reached the Jeep in an impossibly short time, and Edward barely slowed as he flung me in the backseat. â€Å"Strap her in,† he ordered Emmett, who slid in beside me. Alice was already in the front seat, and Edward was starting the engine. It roared to life and we swerved backward, spinning around to face the winding road. Edward was growling something too fast for me to understand, but it sounded a lot like a string of profanities. The jolting trip was much worse this time, and the darkness only made it more frightening. Emmett and Alice both glared out the side windows. We hit the main road, and though our speed increased, I could see much better where we were going. And we were headed south, away from Forks. â€Å"Where are we going?† I asked. No one answered. No one even looked at me. â€Å"Dammit, Edward! Where are you taking me?† â€Å"We have to get you away from here – far away – now.† He didn’t look back, his eyes on the road. The speedometer read a hundred and five miles an hour. â€Å"Turn around! You have to take me home!† I shouted. I struggled with the stupid harness, tearing at the straps. â€Å"Emmett,† Edward said grimly. And Emmett secured my hands in his steely grasp. â€Å"No! Edward! No, you can’t do this.† â€Å"I have to, Bella, now please be quiet.† â€Å"I won’t! You have to take me back – Charlie will call the FBI! They’ll be all over your family – Carlisle and Esme! They’ll have to leave, to hide forever!† â€Å"Calm down, Bella.† His voice was cold. â€Å"We’ve been there before.† â€Å"Not over me, you don’t! You’re not ruining everything over me!† I struggled violently, with total futility. Alice spoke for the first time. â€Å"Edward, pull over.† He flashed her a hard look, and then sped up. â€Å"Edward, let’s just talk this through.† â€Å"You don’t understand,† he roared in frustration. I’d never heard his voice so loud; it was deafening in the confines of the Jeep. The speedometer neared one hundred and fifteen. â€Å"He’s a tracker, Alice, did you see that? He’s a tracker!† I felt Emmett stiffen next to me, and I wondered at his reaction to the word. It meant something more to the three of them than it did to me; I wanted to understand, but there was no opening for me to ask. â€Å"Pull over, Edward.† Alice’s tone was reasonable, but there was a ring of authority in it I’d never heard before. The speedometer inched passed one-twenty. â€Å"Do it, Edward.† â€Å"Listen to me, Alice. I saw his mind. Tracking is his passion, his obsession – and he wants her, Alice – her, specifically. He begins the hunt tonight.† â€Å"He doesn’t know where -â€Å" He interrupted her. â€Å"How long do you think it will take him to cross her scent in town? His plan was already set before the words were out of Laurent’s mouth.† I gasped, knowing where my scent would lead. â€Å"Charlie! You can’t leave him there! You can’t leave him!† I thrashed against the harness. â€Å"She’s right,† Alice said. The car slowed slightly. â€Å"Let’s just look at our options for a minute,† Alice coaxed. The car slowed again, more noticeably, and then suddenly we screeched to a stop on the shoulder of the highway. I flew against the harness, and then slammed back into the seat. â€Å"There are no options,† Edward hissed. â€Å"I’m not leaving Charlie!† I yelled. He ignored me completely. â€Å"We have to take her back,† Emmett finally spoke. â€Å"No.† Edward was absolute. â€Å"He’s no match for us, Edward. He won’t be able to touch her.† â€Å"He’ll wait.† Emmett smiled. â€Å"I can wait, too.† â€Å"You didn’t see – you don’t understand. Once he commits to a hunt, he’s unshakable. We’d have to kill him.† Emmett didn’t seem upset by the idea. â€Å"That’s an option.† â€Å"And the female. She’s with him. If it turns into a fight, the leader will go with them, too.† â€Å"There are enough of us.† â€Å"There’s another option,† Alice said quietly. Edward turned on her in fury, his voice a blistering snarl. â€Å"There – is – no – other – option!† Emmett and I both stared at him in shock, but Alice seemed unsurprised. The silence lasted for a long minute as Edward and Alice stared each other down. I broke it. â€Å"Does anyone want to hear my plan?† â€Å"No,† Edward growled. Alice glared at him, finally provoked. â€Å"Listen,† I pleaded. â€Å"You take me back.† â€Å"No,† he interrupted. I glared at him and continued. â€Å"You take me back. I tell my dad I want to go home to Phoenix. I pack my bags. We wait till this tracker is watching, and then we run. He’ll follow us and leave Charlie alone. Charlie won’t call the FBI on your family. Then you can take me any damned place you want.† They stared at me, stunned. â€Å"It’s not a bad idea, really.† Emmett’s surprise was definitely an insult. â€Å"It might work – and we simply can’t leave her father unprotected. You know that,† Alice said. Everyone looked at Edward. â€Å"It’s too dangerous – I don’t want him within a hundred miles of her.† Emmett was supremely confident. â€Å"Edward, he’s not getting through us.† Alice thought for a minute. â€Å"I don’t see him attacking. He’ll try to wait for us to leave her alone.† â€Å"It won’t take long for him to realize that’s not going to happen.† â€Å"I demand that you take me home.† I tried to sound firm. Edward pressed his fingers to his temples and squeezed his eyes shut. â€Å"Please,† I said in a much smaller voice. He didn’t look up. When he spoke, his voice sounded worn. â€Å"You’re leaving tonight, whether the tracker sees or not. You tell Charlie that you can’t stand another minute in Forks. Tell him whatever story works. Pack the first things your hands touch, and then get in your truck. I don’t care what he says to you. You have fifteen minutes. Do you hear me? Fifteen minutes from the time you cross the doorstep.† The Jeep rumbled to life, and he spun us around, the tires squealing. The needle on the speedometer started to race up the dial. â€Å"Emmett?† I asked, looking pointedly at my hands. â€Å"Oh, sorry.† He let me loose. A few minutes passed in silence, other than the roar of the engine. Then Edward spoke again. â€Å"This is how it’s going to happen. When we get to the house, if the tracker is not there, I will walk her to the door. Then she has fifteen minutes.† He glared at me in the rearview mirror. â€Å"Emmett, you take the outside of the house. Alice, you get the truck. I’ll be inside as long as she is. After she’s out, you two can take the Jeep home and tell Carlisle.† â€Å"No way,† Emmett broke in. â€Å"I’m with you.† â€Å"Think it through, Emmett. I don’t know how long I’ll be gone.† â€Å"Until we know how far this is going to go, I’m with you.† Edward sighed. â€Å"If the tracker is there,† he continued grimly, â€Å"we keep driving.† â€Å"We’re going to make it there before him,† Alice said confidently. Edward seemed to accept that. Whatever his problem with Alice was, he didn’t doubt her now. â€Å"What are we going to do with the Jeep?† she asked. His voice had a hard edge. â€Å"You’re driving it home.† â€Å"No, I’m not,† she said calmly. The unintelligible stream of profanities started again. â€Å"We can’t all fit in my truck,† I whispered. Edward didn’t appear to hear me. â€Å"I think you should let me go alone,† I said even more quietly. He heard that. â€Å"Bella, please just do this my way, just this once,† he said between clenched teeth. â€Å"Listen, Charlie’s not an imbecile,† I protested. â€Å"If you’re not in town tomorrow, he’s going to get suspicious.† â€Å"That’s irrelevant. We’ll make sure he’s safe, and that’s all that matters.† â€Å"Then what about this tracker? He saw the way you acted tonight. He’s going to think you’re with me, wherever you are.† Emmett looked at me, insultingly surprised again. â€Å"Edward, listen to her,† he urged. â€Å"I think she’s right.† â€Å"Yes, she is,† Alice agreed. â€Å"I can’t do that.† Edward’s voice was icy. â€Å"Emmett should stay, too,† I continued. â€Å"He definitely got an eyeful of Emmett.† â€Å"What?† Emmett turned on me. â€Å"You’ll get a better crack at him if you stay,† Alice agreed. Edward stared at her incredulously. â€Å"You think I should let her go alone?† â€Å"Of course not,† Alice said. â€Å"Jasper and I will take her.† â€Å"I can’t do that,† Edward repeated, but this time there was a trace of defeat in his voice. The logic was working on him. I tried to be persuasive. â€Å"Hang out here for a week -† I saw his expression in the mirror and amended â€Å"- a few days. Let Charlie see you haven’t kidnapped me, and lead this James on a wild-goose chase. Make sure he’s completely off my trail. Then come and meet me. Take a roundabout route, of course, and then Jasper and Alice can go home.† I could see him beginning to consider it. â€Å"Meet you where?† â€Å"Phoenix.† Of course. â€Å"No. He’ll hear that’s where you’re going,† he said impatiently. â€Å"And you’ll make it look like that’s a ruse, obviously. He’ll know that we’ll know that he’s listening. He’ll never believe I’m actually going where I say I am going.† â€Å"She’s diabolical,† Emmett chuckled. â€Å"And if that doesn’t work?† â€Å"There are several million people in Phoenix,† I informed him. â€Å"It’s not that hard to find a phone book.† â€Å"I won’t go home.† â€Å"Oh?† he inquired, a dangerous note in his voice. â€Å"I’m quite old enough to get my own place.† â€Å"Edward, we’ll be with her,† Alice reminded him. â€Å"What are you going to do in Phoenix?† he asked her scathingly. â€Å"Stay indoors.† â€Å"I kind of like it.† Emmett was thinking about cornering James, no doubt. â€Å"Shut up, Emmett.† â€Å"Look, if we try to take him down while she’s still around, there’s a much better chance that someone will get hurt – she’ll get hurt, or you will, trying to protect her. Now, if we get him alone†¦Ã¢â‚¬ He trailed off with a slow smile. I was right. The Jeep was crawling slowly along now as we drove into town. Despite my brave talk, I could feel the hairs on my arms standing up. I thought about Charlie, alone in the house, and tried to be courageous. â€Å"Bella.† Edward’s voice was very soft. Alice and Emmett looked out their windows. â€Å"If you let anything happen to yourself- anything at all – I’m holding you personally responsible. Do you understand that?† â€Å"Yes,† I gulped. He turned to Alice. â€Å"Can Jasper handle this?† â€Å"Give him some credit, Edward. He’s been doing very, very well, all things considered.† â€Å"Can you handle this?† he asked. And graceful little Alice pulled back her lips in a horrific grimace and let loose with a guttural snarl that had me cowering against the seat in terror. Edward smiled at her. â€Å"But keep your opinions to yourself,† he muttered suddenly. How to cite Twilight 18. THE HUNT, Essay examples

Planning and Developing of Organization Structure

Question: Discuss about the Planning and Developing of Organization Structure. Answer: Introduction: An effective information system is the significant part of the hotel industries as a business system. It main roles and responsibilities are to enhance the process involved in managing, performing and strategically planning organization operations[1]. Moreover, an information system improves the intangible features of business services and enhances quality and services through innovation and improvement. A hotel is a complex system because it involves several operations that themselves have the entire attribute within the system. Thus it has been suggested that hotel industries needs to incorporate integrated information system in its organization that helps to communicate among the all department in better manner[2]. A hotel can comprises of check in check out system, selling accommodation services, providing and preparing food and beverage services, human resource management, finance department and others, therefore implementation of the integrated system helps the organization to communicate with the all department in vital and successful manner. Integrated information system that functions within the hotel industries as a business system enabling it to effectively communicate with the front office department and provide the all information associated with the customers in vital manner. Use of integrated information system in hotel is ensuring that all functions such as food and d rinks, accommodation and other hotel services run effectively and smoothly. Integrated management system also manage the reservation, registration, day end process, guest history, reports, housekeeping and other and it will helps the organization to solve its issues in better manner. As in the study it has been seen that organization has not enough time during the check out and the result is that the hotels losing small items such as pillows, electric items, towels and others. Moreover, hotels charges the amount is based on a total which includes food and beverage services, room changes, outlet charges as well as damages from the guest during checkout. Thus, these all work within the hotel industries have done in better manner with help of the implementation of integrated software system[3]. Flow of the data of integrated information system is blustered in below using DFD diagram. During check in time, integrated system is stored the client name with room numbers and all expenses done by the client is stored in system in better manner. Thus, during the checkout time, the front department enters the client room number in its software system and all the expenses shows in form of reports in its system in better and fast manner. So that it helps the organization to solve its current issues in better manner3. Apart from that, when the housekeeping enters the room then they update the information of the room in the information system and if any damages done by the client is stored in the software system. So that in checkout time, the front department is easily calculated the customers expense. Thus in this manner they can solved their issues in better and effective manner. An organization is characterized various departments that work in collaborative manner to lead the organization towards successfully achieving its objectives[4]. The organization can be looked upon as an association of the individuals and these departments in order to achieve profits. Thus the different departments within a manufacturing organization like BMW can be listed as follows: Purchase department Research and development Production Marketing Sales Finance Human Resources Inventory It department So, if the functions of the different departments are carefully analyzed, it can be said that they are interrelated to each other since information from one department is required by the other to achieve harmony in operation and achieve efficiency. Starting from the Research and department in context to BMW, it can be said that this department plays an important role in the innovation process. It helps the company to launch new products and services into the market[5]. In this context it is also important that the new products and services being launched and introduced by the business organization need to be capable of meeting the specific needs of the customers in the target market segment. So, in this context it can be said that the knowledge and information about the specific needs and preferences of the customers in the target market segment can be provided to the research and department by the sales department and this is mainly because the sales department is the one that comes in direct contact with the customers and the market (Schroeder and Kardoff, 2010)[6]. Thus, information from sales team flows to the RD department on the basis of which the product i.e. new model of car id designed by BMW. On the other hand the research and development after designing the model with every detail and specifications of the new model pass on the information to the production department that is responsible for developing the idea into a physical product. So, without the information from the research and development department, the production department would not be able to design and build new product that can be introduced in the market. The production department after receiving the detailed information from the RD department decides upon the material specifications that would be required for producing the new product. Thus it emphasizes upon planning for the materials like plastic, metals, rubber, leather and other technical equipments that can prove to be useful in designing and developing the new product6. The detailed information is then sent to the purchase department that is responsible for contracting the suppliers to get the required materials delivered so that production can be initiated as early as possible. Purchase department is responsible for the purchase of raw materials together with controlling the cost of good by efficiently selecting the suppliers that can deliver the right products at the right place at the right cost and in the right quantity and at the right time. Again before placing the purchase order, the purchase department passes on the information to the inventory management in order to analyze and gain an idea of what materials are present in the inventory and what materials need to be purchased from the supplier. The inventory department that is responsible for maintaining the stock of the materials after receiving the requirements from the purchase department emphasizes upon checking its stick to analyze whether the materials required are present in the stock or purchase order need to be placed. After carefully investigating the stock, the inventory department clearly passes on the information to the purchase department about the present stock and the stock that need to be purchased from the suppliers. After receiving the information from the inventory department, the purchase department places the order to their regular supplier or newly appointed supplier with clear details of percentage credit and percentage cash together with credit time and quantity and the time by which the stock is required at the production site[7]. The same information is also passed on to the production department and also the inventory department. The suppliers after receiving the order delivers the material to production site that is again first stored in the inventory where the stock is updated and then issued to the production department for beginning the production. The production department after receiving the materials initiates the production to design and develop the physical product as has been planned by the research and development department7. In the mean time, the research and development together with the production department also pass on the information about detailed specifications, technical details and unique selling proposition to the sakes and the marketing department. Thus, by receiving the information where the sales department strive towards designing and planning the sales strategy, the marketing departments strive towards planning the advertising and promotional campaigns for the product to make the market and the customers aware of the product. On the other hand, it is a known fact that each and every step that is taken by the company, be it research and development, market research, purchase of raw materials, sales planning, advertising and sales promotion, fund is required that is issued by the finance department. So, in each and every context, information with proper budget is supplied to the finance department so that required funds are allocated ad supplied to carry out the processes. Finance department plays an important role in the success of the business since it takes care of financial deficit and surplus on the part of the company[8]. Moreover, manpower is the major resource that is required for success of the organization and HR debarment is responsible for efficiently managing the human resource of the organization by maintaining the remuneration details and the employee details that is again supplied to the finance department to supply proper remuneration and incentives. Again, all the databases of the different departments is managed and maintained by the IT department so that data and information can easily accessible by the entire department as and when required.
